Helping

Since it was -40 out today, we thought we would stay in and do a little Christmas wrapping. Other than sorting bows, I gotta say, she wasn't much help!!

Update

Well, it seems that everyday now she is changing and learning something new. Just thought I would post a couple of new pics this week. We are looking forward to the Christmas holiday as we will be packing up on Dec 22nd and heading to Calgary, then on to Cranbrook for a few days. As most of you know, Andrian's leave of absence from work has been approved for the year, and his last day of work will be Dec 21st. He is counting down the days and looking forward to spending some quality time with Rowan when I return to work on Jan 5th, as he will be staying home with her and continuing on our regular routine around here. As he says, it will be Tato Time!!

Shampoo Mohawks

Well, can you hardly believe she's 11 months old and I only have a mere month before I'm back to the old grind! Had her measurements taken yesterday, and she hasn't gained any weight to speak of this past month as she only at 20lbs 2oz (up 1 oz from last month) and according to the girl who measured her, she shrunk!!! They all do it differently so there are inconsistencies month to month, but I know she's grown because I had to put away a pile of sleepers and bring in a new, bigger crop. Love this long hair that we can play with in the tub!

I keep trying to catch her in one of her more animated states, but when she sees the camera she just wants to pose. But here's bit of a sample of the hand talker.

Bad Piano!

Okay, I know that I am probably going to hell for having laughed so much at this video, but I couldn't help myself! Funny thing was I had forgotten about getting this on camera and came across it a day or two later....showed Andrian and did we ever laugh!! Poor girl....oh, and bear with me as I figure out these videos...wasn't sure how to get it right side up.

Giggles

For this video I was hiding behind the island and popping up to see her....this can entertain for quite awhile! Oh, and "sneeze", "yucky" and "spaghetti" are the funniest words in the english language.

More piano

The piano also converts to a standing unit....be advised, there were no safety nets used during the taking of this picture!

Cuddles

One of Rowan's more content moments in life...despite the fact that a diaper change was absolutely necessary, Andrian was reluctant to end his cuddles.

Beethoven

Rowan received this little piano toy from Arlene and will often play for some time. Since the toy will play some tunes all on it's own, Ro can be seen throwing her hands into the air and waving them about as if to conduct the music herself...perhaps a budding Beethoven...
