Well February is almost gone and we are still here. This is a shot of Rowan having some quality mall-time with me and her Auntie Lena, as she was treated to her very own fruit smoothie....my little mall-girl....
Well, time is passing and while there are still lots of tears (mine, not hers), we also still have some smiles and laughter together, which is something...I am enjoying this time I have at home with her.
She is growing up everyday and takes me by surprise with her quick pick-up of new phrases...this week it's "no way, hoe-say"! She has also sprouted a new tooth recently and amazingly enough has outgrown some clothes, so I guess time will march on....
As part of our Easter road trip we stopped in Calgary to spend some time with Baba, Gido, Pra-Baba, Auntie Lena, Makaila and Jackson. This was some outside activity on Easter Monday, and Rowan was thrilled to try out her new bike, which Makaila generously gave to her as she had outgrown it. I have to say, after arriving home and seeing it in her own garage, Rowan was very excited to see "my new bike!!"
imes she totally sucks me in and makes me participate in her whimsies! I know, not so flattering for me, but I think this is her rendition of us being "skater girls".
