A Trip Across the Bay

1st Group BBQ of the Season

A couple of weeks ago we had a really nice Saturday, so Rowan and I had the gang over for some backyard play, some premium moose steaks and red wine with good friends. Nice to have everyone at the table....

Gymnastics!

Well we've started gymnastics....Rowan still hates the warm up portion and refuses to take part and often yells at the other kids to "stop!" Oh well. It's hit and miss with her participation in all the activites, but in her defense, the class is an hour long and right before lunch time. That being said, she really does like Coach Carmen and responds very well to her, and of course, is all about the stamps they get at the end of class!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! Well, the presents and chocolate were ample and abound, both of which made Rowan a very happy girl! After spending part of the morning checking out Easter gift bags, we all headed outside for an official egg hunt. Saturday night Nana, Michelle and I spent a few minutes stuffing a few dozen plastic eggs with chocolate treats, gummies, stickers and toys, and Uncle Chad strategically placed them around the yard. It took the kids all of 10 seconds to "get it" and they were off, gathering eggs in their baskets until they couldn't fit anymore. Guess Nana will know soon enough if we got them all or not! Very fun!!

Easter Road Trip - Cranbrook portion

Well, big surprise, Rowan was back in the swing at Nana and Papa's! We partnered up with Chad, Michelle and Kayden to head down to Cranbrook for part of the Easter weekend and while the weather could have been a little bit better, there was plenty of outside time anyways.

Rowan and Kayden were given some new cars to drive around the patio...more stuff for Nana and Papa to store!!

Nana set up a new little craft table to keep the kids entertained...complete with books, colouring, play-doh and stickers (that ultimately end up all over everything!). Thanks Nana!

Oh, and the chairs double as seating for the movies.....where's the popcorn?
